If there is one leader in the game simulation, it is The Sims. The Sims franchise has been around since February 4, 2000. Since its creation, The Sims franchise has had no competition. The Sims 4 is the most current of The Sims games, and according to public opinion, it is the worst of the series. Recently there has been a surge of simulation games created and becoming competition for The Sims. This is where our product Paralives comes in. Paralives is an Idie simulation game that is currently being developed by Alex Massé and his team. It is the closest thing to competition that The Sims franchise will have. This is significant because this Indie game has many of the features current Sims players are missing in The Sims 4.
According to the Paralives press kit, players “are free to build homes, create characters and manage their lives inside their homes and all-around an open-world town. The game features innovative build tools that are easy to use but powerful for advanced builders. The simulation mode allows players to explore a city full of events, people, to meet, and ways to make their Parafolks evolve and live a happy life (or not, if they choose to)!”
This game will include an open world, cars, it is mod compatible, and it isn’t taking part in the microtransaction practice that most games use today. This game started as a passion project by Alex Massé, and little by little, he began to hire more people to his team to complete his project faster.
Their target audience is people who enjoy simulation games similar to The Sims. One of the top gaming influencers is Kayla Sims, also known as LilSimsie, on her YouTube, Twitch, and social media channels. She mostly plays The Sims 4, The Sims 3, Animal Crossing, etc. She has about 1.32 million followers and counting on YouTube and 459 thousand followers on Twitch. She has been playing these simulation-style games since she was 14. Her posting style is engaging because she posts every day and streams every day except for Sundays. She is the perfect candidate for Paralives to partner with. If anyone had any doubts about the game or if it was good, having a trustworthy source that the gaming community admires say they love this game would be a massive help to their sales and to get people to donate to their games Patreon.
